The most important habit you can adopt for wellness is meditation.  Meditation helps to form all other habits, it’s helps you to become more peaceful, more focused, less worried about discomfort, more appreciative and attentive to everything in life. While far from perfect, but it can help you on your path.  However, most importantly, it helps you understand your own mind. 

Without meditation we never think about what is going on inside your head — it just happens, and we follow its commands like an automaton. As your practice grows, we become more and more aware of what’s going on. We can make a choice about whether to follow the commands. As we understand  our self better (not completely, but better), we gain an increased flexibility and freedom.
